From the first equation you will know the value of one shoe (not pair) is 5
From the second equation you will know value of single man is 5
From the third equation you will know value of one cone is 2
now the last equation is as follows
1 shoe + (1 man + 2 cones + 2 shoes) x one cone
= 5 + (5 + 4 + 10) x 2
= 5 + 19 x 2
= 43
“From the first equation you will know the value of one shoe (not pair) is 5”
A person does not actually know that. It could be that a left shoe=4 and a right shoe=6 so the correct answer is
D – Not enough information
But I’ll go with you on this one. 🙂
How do you get 43. When clearly 19+5=24
24×2=48
BODMAS
You have to multiply first (19 X 2 = 38), then add (38 + 5 = 43). 43 is the correct answer.
You did the wrong order of operations. Look up PEMDAS and BODMAS.
