and 60% of the females are there with their husbands.
What percentage of the people are males
who are not married to any of these women?
Lets assume there are total 100 people in the party
Now, 60% of them are male so remaining 40% are female, which is 40 females.
Out of these 40 females, 60% are with their husbands, which means 24 females are with their husbands, which also means 24 males out of 60 males are not married to other females.
That also means 60-24 = 36% males are not married to any of these woman.
So the answer is 36%.
